Vodcast 10: Thinking

This vodcast draws upon Dewey’s seminal text, How we think, to explore the importance of thinking in subject English. Dr Lorri Beveridge and Michael Murray assess how well the current and emerging NSW English K-6 syllabuses allow primary teachers to teach thinking. They also analyse some examples from their units of work to show how primary teachers can promote thinking in their classrooms in the context of subject English.
