This Yr 1/2 (Stage 1) unit deals with the English concept of genre, particularly information texts but also imaginative and hybrid texts. The core texts include picture books (Fabulous frogs, Refugees, Counting lions, Big red kangaroo and Platypus) and various websites. Michael Murray wrote this unit.
