This Yr 5/6 (Stage 3) English unit features the core text Mechanica (picture book) and deals with the concepts of genre (science fiction, scientific writing), narrative, code and convention, intertextuality and point of view. It is integrated with Science and Technology. Lorri Beveridge and Michael Murray co-wrote this unit in 2019.
